The branch manager exercises complete responsibly for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operation and personnel development activities.
Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the branch
Develop and implement sales and profitability plans for assigned territory
Direct all operational aspects of the branch to include distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in a manner that supports reaching the profitability goals.
Ensure that all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed.
Provide training, coaching, development and motivation to entire branch team
Oversee branch financial management, staffing and operational activities.
Take part in developing branch and organizational objectives, and also in formulating policies and budgets
To build effective coordination with other branches and senior managers
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Responsible to maintain effective relationship with existing customers and to explore more contacts in market
Ensure the safekeeping and proper maintenance of company assets
Maintain and enforce personnel policy
Take prompt corrective action as needed after consulting with the management
Achieve the profitability goals/objectives of branch as well as organization
Other duties as assigned.
